ABOUT US

-OUR STORY-

In 2014, after years of planning and construction, Jerod Millirons and Dave Monks founded Iron Monk Brewing Company, bringing the first craft brewery to Stillwater, Oklahoma. With over 30 years of combined brewing experience and a shared entrepreneurial spirit, they tirelessly set out to create exciting, local, handcrafted brews.

In late 2015, Iron Monk opened the state's premier tap room to share their craft directly with brewery fans and friends, and brewery tours started just a few weeks later.

-JEROD MILLIRONS, Cofounder-

Jerod is a hands-on, mechanically-inclined hardworking dude that enjoys all aspects of operating a brewery: from setting up equipment to handling the finances.

Jerod is a native of Duncan who earned a degree in Biology followed by an MBA at Oklahoma State. After establishing a successful rental property business, he combined his two passions for business and beer and cofounded Stillwater's first brewery.

Favorite Beer: Exit 174

Interests: Hunting, fishing, OSU sports

When not in the brewery you might find Jerod: Freezing his ass off in a deer stand.

-DAVE MONKS, Cofounder-

As you can see from these pictures, Dave is a fun-loving practical joker that keeps the staff in good spirits. Originally from Ft. Gibson, he grew up exploring caves, practicing various art forms (he's been known to draw the labels of some of our beer. Check out Bright D. Weizensour and the upcoming Imperial Stout) and studying the sciences.

After attaining two PhDs and teaching for over a decade, Dave applied his years of experience in home brewing to cofound Iron Monk.

Favorite Beer: The Combine

Interests: Homebrewing, gardening, cooking

When not in the brewery you might find Dave: off the beaten path in Mexico or Scotland.

-SAM MOSLE - Head Brewer-

Meet Sam Mosle (if you haven't already).  Sam was our interim Head Brewer a while back, and after some much needed time in Montana, he's returned back to Iron Monk!

Sam is one helluva great brewer and great guy.  His brewing creativity, knowledge and enthusiasm are truly remarkable!

We know all of you will quickly come to appreciate the fantastic brews that Sam will handcraft with passion right here in Stillwater, USA.

- KRISTEN GAJEWSKI - Tap Room Manager & Brand Ambassador

We are so lucky to have Kristen on our team!  Always quick with a smile and unmatched enthusiasm to make sure everyone is happy with their experience at Iron Monk (both guests and staff).

Many of you have already had the pleasure of getting to know Kristen, and we know there will be many more of you for years to come!

-VICTOR DENNY, Brewery Operations-

Vic (aka Victronic) is one of those quiet unassuming types with a pleasant smile and shy disposition. He is easily one of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet. Then... he straps on a guitar and melts your face off. This guy really shreds as lead guitarist in the band MORGAN.

When he's not melting faces or teaching guitar and ukulele lessons, he can be found doing all kinds of behind-the-scenes work that keeps the brewery clicking along.

Go-to Beer: Milk Stout

Interests: Music, spending time with family

When not in the brewery you might find Vic: Take a guess. Yep, melting faces.

BEST BAR STAFF IN THE WORLD

Think we're exaggerating? Come see for yourself. We work hard at being the friendliest people in the room.

So grab your friends, family, & dog and get down here.  We're excited to have the chance to exceed your expectations.  We trust that if given the opportunity, we will earn your loyalty and friendship.

Please let us know how we did. Cheers!
